Divide and conquer...
Today, each of the people in your trio will take on a different role so that the task of bringing all of the images together to create one infographic will be completed.
The three roles are:
The three roles are:
- Stitcher - You will use Canva to bring five images together into one infographic
- Header - You will create a heading or title image using Keynote or Canva for your infographic and send it to the stitcher
- Creditor - You will create an image or slide using Keynote that contains references for the websites your group has used throughout the task, and send the image to the stitcher
First things first...
- eMail the image you created last week (Health, Education or Living Standards) to the Stitcher. The stitcher needs to have all three images saved in their Photos app to start.
- eMail the links and information you have about the sources you used to gather your data to the Creditor.
Downloading an Image from Canva
Open the Canva app and locate the design
Open the design
Be sure that you have only one page in your design (or the next step won't work)
Choose "Download" from the top right corner.
Select "Download an image" and wait
Touch the "share" button in the top right corner
Select "Save image"
Your image will now be saved in your camera roll, ready to be emailed to the Stitcher

Header
- After you have sent the image to the Stitcher and the links to the Creditor, open the Canva app
- Start a new "presentation" design
- Peruse the layouts to find a layout that appeals to you, or start with a blank design.
- You may use the images provided on this page or images you find on Pixabay or PhotosforClass
- Add a title or headline that suits your entire infographic
- Add a subtitle or other subtext that explains the information your viewers will find and the purpose of your infographic
- Download the design as an image and send it to the stitcher to be included in the final design.
Creditor
- After you have sent your image to the Stitcher, open Keynote and create a blank slide
- Make a title that says "Credits" or "Sources" or something similar
- Create a text box and list the websites you and your partners used to locate your data.
- Save the slide as an image (you could do this by taking a screenshot and then trimming the excess in the Photos app)
- Send the image to the Stitcher so they can add it to the bottom of the completed infographic.
The finished product...
Your group's completed infographic should contain:
- A header or title
- Information about Health
- Information about Education
- Information about Living Standards
- A list of websites you used
